Located at Period 14 and Group 7 of the Periodic Table is one of the man made Heavy Element. This is Flerovium.

Flerovium's discovery was announced a year later its discovery ( 1999 ), so there is not much information about this element. Moreover, there is only 90 atoms of Flerovium created up to date, where 58 was created directly, and 32 is produced from radioactive decay.
Although not much is known about the element, we still can predict that Flerovium is highly radioactive, just like all the other elements in the Periodic Table's Period 7 ( Francium, Radium, Actinium, etc. ).
So, Flerovium is very radioactive.
Atomic Number : 114
Name : Flerovium
Latin Name : Flerovium
Electrons per Shell : [ 2, 8, 18, 32, 32, 18, 4 ]
Discoverer : Joint Institute for Nuclear Research ( 1998 )
Creator : Joint Institute for Nuclear Research ( 1998 )
Element's : Atomic Mass : 285 u ( estimated )
: Density : 22 g/cm3
: Type : Non - Metal
Chemical Properties :
Like all Super - Heavy Synthesized element, Flerovium's chemical properties is almost unknown. However, this is what we know :
Flerovium Isotope |
- 7 isotopes : 3 of them are :
Flerovium - 287 : Protons : 114
: Neutrons : 173
: Electrons : 114
( Half Life : 0.54 seconds )
Flerovium - 288 : Protons : 114
: Neutrons : 174
: Electrons : 114
( Half Life : 0.64 seconds )
Flerovium - 289 : Protons : 114
: Neutrons : 175
: Electrons : 114
( Half Life : 1.9 seconds )
Physical Properties :
Like Chemical Properties, because Flerovium is a Super - Heavy Synthesized element, so no known uses is to be known about Flerovium, because of its short half lived isotopes. And also, up to date, there are only a total of 90 atoms been created. Once again, this is what we know :
- Silvery white ( predicted )
- Melting Point : 66.85 degrees Celsius ( 152.33 Fahrenheit )
- Boiling Point : 146.85 degrees Celsius ( 296.33 Fahrenheit )
- Highly Radioactive

How Flerovium got its name?
Flerovium got its name from the Founder of Joint Institute of Nuclear Research, Georgy Flerov. Before Flerovium was officially discovered, it holds the ' Unknown ' title, which is Ununquadium. Ununquadium only got its name in May 2012, where the International Union of Pure and Applied
Chemistry ( IUPAC ) agreed to name Ununquadium Flerovium, voted by the scientists.

Uses
There is no known uses for Flerovium yet. However, he know that Flerovium is only used in Laboratory for research purposes. The uses of Flerovium is unknown... until we know more.
THIS IS THE END OF FLEROVIUM
